I like creating cursive writing worksheets that are educational in their own right and that contain lots of capital letters. In years past, I have created PDFs of a few cursive writing worksheets and uploaded them to my blog. I used Worksheetworks.com to create them. It’s an extremely user-friendly worksheet creator, especially compared to the other ones out there.
However, when I go there now to create and download worksheets, they only give permission to the person who actually created them. So here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to create a few “worksheets” for you here, on my blog. You’ll need to copy and paste this info into the worksheet generator on their website. If your individual lines are long, such as in the President “worksheet,” then it’s best to use landscape mode. If you don’t want twenty pages of content, it’s good to use a smaller font for the longer “worksheets” as well.
In addition to my worksheets, feel free to create your own. Their website makes it very easy!

Somewhere, I’ve got books of the Bible, Girls’ Names, Boys’ Names, States of the USA, and maybe a Psalm or two. I need to get it all on one page so that everyone can find it easily…eventually, lol.

The schools in our school district don’t even teach cursive writing anymore…sheesh.
We are homeschoolers, so my son is stuck with it, lol.
Well, all the better for him. If you are up to that task, it is a very honorable one.
I am more concerned that he can read cursive than write it. I taught him when he was younger, but it’s sort of fallen by the wayside now.
However…there are some books on Amazon that I’ve been meaning to order that contain pictures of our nations documents. One of these days I’m going to order them and make sure he can read them. That’s the plan, anyway.

I just have to make one more comment concerning the fact that the public schools aren’t teaching cursive anymore: will public-school graduates even be able to read our nation’s historical documents 50, 100 years from now?
Nope. Not sure they will be able to read it even if it’s printed, but that’s another story I suppose.
